Hi!

I have changed my template/theme both in Joomla and SMF.
Now I want to go from unwrapped to wrapped forum.
Everything works great except the mod_smfRecentPosts (and mod_smfRecentTopics)

These are showing the correct posts/topics, but when I click on the link the page shows nothing.

I belive I have these versions:
Joomla: 1.0.9
SMF: SMF 1.1 RC2
Bridge: 1.1.4
(I know they are old, but they work and I can not upgrade as the bridge is unavailable)

Can anyone help me with the links in RecentPosts?

Orstio

Your software is not only old, but a major security risk.  All three of those versions of software (Joomla, SMF, and bridge) have known security issues.

From where did you get the mod_smfRecentTopics?

Gruffse

I got it from here some time ago.
U made it? (the .xml-file lists Orstio as author. Version 1.0)

I do not like using outdated versions of Joomla, SMF and bridge, but as the bridge is no longer available/maintained, This is what I got.
Is there other good working bridges I can use without too much hassle?
I would prefer not to move to mambo.

Orstio

Just making sure.

Did you also recently switch to using SEF?

Gruffse

No, but I have been making a new template for both Joomla and SMF.
And I have switched to wrapped forum.

The recent topics and recent posts modules worked beatifully until I did this.
The recent topic module is the one I would prefer to use.

Would it help to turn off SEF?
(And will all my links already in forum posts be wrong if I do?)

OK. Problem is now solved.
I just unpublished the recent post/recent topic from displaying in the wrapped forum page and everything now works great.  :)
