Package Information
Latest Version: 2.1
Created by: shrmn
Built for: SMF 2.0 RC3 - 2.0 Gold, SMF 2.0 BETA and SMF 1.1.10 support from ccbtimewiz
Package: Birthday on Profile Summary v2

What is this?
SMF, by default, does not display birthdays on the Profile Summary.
This package will add the Birthday field above the Age field.

Example:

This Package is based off ccbtimewiz's Birthday on Profile Summary, which only supported up to SMF 2.0RC2. I rewrote some parts to support 2.0 RC3 and above, as well as added the many translations provided in his support thread (many thanks to them).

Version History
[v2.0 - 15/6/2011] Released on 15 June 2011
[v2.1 - 27/6/2011] Added German & Dutch translations by Mr. Deejay

finally! why isn't it by default anyways?

edit:

Installed with no errors, but when I went to my profile, above "Age" I just saw a colon then my birthday afterwards. The thing that's missing is the word "Birthday". how do I fix that?

I use the latest version of Chrome

SMF: Forum = whole site; Board = a section

Looks like you need to empty the file cache.

Go to Admin->Maintenance->Forum Maintenance->Routine->Empty the file cache, and click the "Run task now" button.

That should fix it ;)

Is there a way so that this birthday field is displayed under 'Profile Fields' in 'Features and Options'?

I'd like to make it so that users have the option to enter their birthday during registration.

Hungarian translation

$txt['my_birthday'] = 'Születésnapom';
