Need Help restoring back up

I have tried to restore the SQL file, but after many failded atemps, I can not get it to work with my main forum 2.0 forum. Got it to work on my secoundary 1.10 forum, (had no mods and few members).

Is there a way to only upload parts of the SQL. I have my forum up and running, but would like to restore the hundreds of hours of community work. And also have all my member profiles back. That is the main things I need, but dont no how to do that.
