I have a Blackberry site as well as forum, and imtrying to figure out how to make my forum mobile friendly.
any ideas would be helpful.

thanks!

ps. ive tried the ?wap stuff after the actual url, and that doesnt work.

Arantor

What URL did you try exactly?

It isn't always ?wap, sometimes it's ;wap depending on the other stuff in the URL.

Apparently I'm special. LOL.
How do I get the links to be clickable on my forum via mobile, they're hyperlinks, ive tried them as hyper and not as hyper.
??

Arantor

Links via WAP don't work so well, because it's WAP.

WAP2 may work better.

Note that there is a chance in 2.0 RC2 that helps with clickable links in WAP mode but won't be backported to 1.1.

dreaminpink

Is there a way to do wap2 so my links are clickable? Or is that one of those up and coming software release things?

Arantor

No, it's still the same in WAP2 (just checked)

Something is being added for 2.0 RC2 that targets this though so they will be clickable.

Any idea when that will be available?
i really dont want to have to use vbulletin if i dont have to, i really love smf, but because of the nature of my site, i need it to be mobile friendly and clickable links.

Arantor

It will be available when it's done. I believe "soon" is the term in question.

Note that the changes will NOT be added to 1.1.10, meaning you'll also have to upgrade, which means theme and mod(s) may have to be replaced.
