It works for me, but very slowly. Have you contacted your host about this? It does seem like a host issue (since your site is very, very slow at the moment)

They are essentially trying to blame you, but it seems to be your host's fault, not yours.

Could you please download the status.php file at:

http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=49999.0

And upload it to your website, and give us the link to it? (The file is attached to the bottom of that first post)

Since you only have 10-18 people online, it does seem to me (at the moment) that this is your host's fault, not yours.

The status.php file may help us know better what to suggest.

Edit: Also, could you please list what mods you have installed?

Edit 2: I just checked your site, and you currently only have 4-7 people online. But yet it's still quite slow. Hence I can't (at the moment) imagine this is your fault.

but if I go in just a normal topic of 4 page, and this is the error 500

Hmm, it's a tricky issue. However I've been checking your Status.php file frequently and server load is always at least 4.5, and has touched around the 7 mark. I'd say, for that processor, a figure of 2/3 (all other things remaining the same) should be the maximum your host should aim for.

Your forum currently only has 3 people online, but yet the status.php file is showing server loads are still nearly at 5. I personally feel that this is a case of your host perhaps over-loading their server a bit (since your forums have no 'heavy' mods, and no-one is currently online your forums and server loads are still quite high). Can you try asking your host to move you to a less crowded server?

The "File does not exist: /hsphere/local/home/awilum/pascalgames.net/favicon.ico" error is fine - that just means that you haven't uploaded a favicon (that 16x16 pixel icon that appears next to a bookmarked website, etc).

Hmm, thanks. Do you have any that mention "500" or "server errors"? Or are they all of the same 'type' as above?

(By 'type' I mean "File does not exist:" and "Premature end of script headers" errors)

A "premature end of script headers" will result in a 500 error. This error is most common when using PHP as a CGI and the timeout is hit. Usually, this timeout is hit on overloaded database servers (script is waiting on MySQL to respond).

Combined with the load info mentioned above, I'm going to agree that the problem is an overloaded server.

Your server's load seem to be extremely high. I highly believe that your server is overloaded as JustHost is cramming over 1400 websites in this particular server.

Awilum, is this issue resolved now? Did you contact your host and asked them if it's possible to move you to another server that is less crowded to see how the performance is?
