The day after... Rolling back from RC2 to RC1 Database problem!

Hello.
After installing RC2 versione everything crashed so I have to take a backup and roll back.
Unfortunately the system restore from my Cpanel won't work and the server staff don't know why!!
So they "formatted" my web space and I lost everything!

Now.. I proceed with the following steps:

Upload from my Hard Disk Drive to the web server the Forum directory.
I restored the DataBase "cixi_smf1" and now I'm stuck!

how can I reconnect the Forum with the DBase?

I need to re-create the user into "MySQL Users"

how??

Make sure you've recreated the user account that the forum is trying to connect to that database with. If they re-formatted everything then you likely lost your MySQL user accounts as well.

open the settings.php in your forum root and insert the database connection details (user/password/prefix) - save it,  that's it!

Any update on this Cixi?  Were you able to get your forum working again?
