Hi. I had two user groups (non-post-count based) with special access to two special forums.

What is the most convenient way to restore those ?

I converted using vb3.7 converter, VB3.8.4 > smf1.1.10

I still have all tables in the DB.

I thought it should not be complicated at all to write a small mysql script (few commands) to copy the users directly.

How did you do that ? (manually copying 500 users is no option at all)

Hey there,
I already have adding membergroups conversion for vbulletin on my todo list, but it's highly unlikely I will be able to look into it before next week.
Perhaps if somebody else has some time, might be able to help faster.
To-do lists are for deferral. The more things you write down the later they're done... until you have 100s of lists of things you don't do.

Even if half of a script is ready, we would be able to move forward.

Is this issue solved or do you still require assistance?

A script can't be used if its only half ready, or you will just get a bigger mess.

I had to do it manually...... which was tedious and frustrating.

I am very sorry about that. I'm sure it was.

I am sure the script is just in works still. You have to remember that there are quite a few forum systems that SMF still has to make converters for.
