Some Mysql Help for import

I'm converting a forum that was on excoboards to SMF. Since excoboard admin didnt provide me with a backup of my board (lot's of excuses, out of time, etc) i was able to make a file with the following information:

forumID (Board in SMF)
ThreadID (Topic in SMF)
PostID
PostTitle
Date
UserID
Post (Message in SMF)

Now i was thinking in a way of adding them to my SMF board. I've already added the users (created new ones) and the Boards (only 10 different) but now i need to add the Topics and Messages.

I just need to know if the only tables i need to fill are smf_messages and smf_topics (since the smf_boards and smf_members are already done).

Can i add them with a manual sql query (like an INSERT INTO) or am i missing some other vital/important tables ?

Sorry for the late response.  Yes, just those two tables.  And categories.

INSERT should work fine if you have the right data, which you seem to.
