Emails and notifications

Hi guy's
Had a search for the answer but can't seem to find anything. I have a problem with email notification. I have everybody in the forum set to receive notification of replies etc but nobody is receiving them inc me. This also includes report to moderator which I assume is done by email as well.
I'm using joomla as my front end, server is hxxp:000a.biz [nonactive] and using version 1.1.11 SMF.
I'm new to all this so any help much appreciated

Do you get any emails at all from your forum? Check your forum's error log for any relevant error messages
