Hi all,

I couldn't find specific answers to the following. I have 2 databases running off the same phpMyAdmin - 1 phpnuke (main site) and 1 mos (trial site). Both are running off different databases.

What tables will I have to move over to the mos database to get - users as well as all my forum catagories as well as posts.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this will overright all present users in the mos database ?

I am currently running Simple Board but am not concerned with trying to save anything there. Just want to move all the phpNuke data over - forum and users.

I allready have phpbb2_to_smf.php and take it that this is run from the command line ?? or is it run from the SMF Package Manager ??

Anything I've forgotten ??

Thanks in advance  ;)

You run phpBB2_to_smf.php from your browser. It doesn't matter that phpNuke and Mambo are installed on different databases as long as the same MySQL user account has access to both of them. I would suggest integrating SMF with Mambo first, and then attempting to convert that way.

Great ... thanks for the pointers

I actually converted the database to phpBB2 and then imported everything into smf ... all done, much easier and had no probs doing it this way

A problem I had was that all new users imported where admins ... a quick edit of an sql and upload and all fixed.

One last thing, only the users that have logged in are showing up in mambo. The rest of the users in smf don't show in mambo, I know they will once they log in but is there anything that I can do to bring them into the mambo userbase??

thanks for the hand
