What is doing this mod for your forum ?

1. It's adding beatiful urls. Your url will look like:

2. Create sitemap for Google and Yahoo
3. Html Sitemap

Installation
============
Requirements
A working SMF 2.0 RC2. Apache with mod_rewrite enabled.
The mod is just beautifyng your urls, creating a sitemap for google and yahoo.

Because I don't do any mysql query I was forced to preserve id of boards and topics on urls:

Interesting. How come I can see calls to $smcFunc['db_query'] when it doesn't do "any" queries?

This version of SEO for SMF is DOESN'T doing any MYSQL query (for topcis and boards) and is based just on SMF variables.
so it doesnt doing any mysql on board.
but if topic and board name is empty; it does mysql query

Your url will look like
Board:

Topic:
forum-example.com/the-topic-name-id.html

it doesn't like pretty because your url doesnt like forum-name/board-name/topic-name/ and url does not hold in database 

it doesnt like SimpleSEF because, it boards url like

yourboard.com/general_discussion/ so
firstboard: general_discussion
second board: general_discussion
it doesnt work healthy.

and message url in advanced seo like

/topic-name-topic-id.html;msg-id;topicseen#new
but in simple seo

I take your point about the board name; though SlammedDime is going to fix that shortly in SimpleSEF.

I would wonder, if you've modified SEO4SMF (which is what you've said):
1. Where is it stated that you gave permission? If you want to publish this on the SMF mod site you will need to confirm that.
2. Did the security issue in SEO4SMF get fixed?

Oh, and you'll need to do a lot of cleanup prior to any approval; we like mods to use SMF's coding style and for there to be no hardcoded text strings in the files (the 'Hacking attempt' one is fine, as is style and base HTML, but no user-visible text should be directly in the templates)


Also: What ACTUAL SEO benefit does this generate? There is, presently, no engine that significantly ranks based on the URL of the page itself other than the domain. There is an argument for clickthrough benefit but no SERP movement based on the 'prettiness' of the URL.

SimpleSEF doesnt like AdvancedSeo. more different.
