I subscribed to hxxp:layershift.com [nonactive] today and have a problem with CHMOD function, tried 777, 755, no luck, I can see in the file manager that this is changed, but when I come back to the installation page, it still lists the directories as non writable. Please, help.

Have you contacted their support directly to request help from them?
They should be the best party to help you out on this issue as we will not have access to their servers.
