Hi. The basic of my request are from this thread.

[Unknown] has kindly helped me out with what I originally asked for, but I'd like to extend this out to be a more involved feature - so probably needs a mod to be written.

I would like to have a Board on my forums specifically for users to post interesting web sites. Unfortunately, spammers see this as an opportunity to spam the board with URLs to irrelevant web sites. They do this because they think that it will improve their rankings wth Google - and it becomes a lot of work to manually moderate this.

So, I would like use this feature so that when a URL is posted, it is possible to change a full URL, such as this: http://www.domain.com , into this: www. domain.com (just turns it into plain text) - on a Board by Board basis. This still allows interested users post and go to cool web sites, but removes the need to monitor every single potential spam posting.

Even if I could just disallow all UBB code on that one board, I would be happy.

Anyone up for this?
