Staying in the same page after posting or editing

Well the title says it all. After posting or editing, it took me back to topic lists which is annoying. Would like to stay in the same page. Is this a bug? Maybe a mod for that feature?

this is a option you need to select it go to admin>configuration>themes and layout>member options and then find your theme in the list and alter the options for new and current users and make sure the return to topicafter posting by default option is selected. This will make it forum wide if you want it just for you or individual users it can be set via the user profile
