Password on settings.php

Hello,
I have a forum on my domain that was installed by the support. Now I have changed my cpanel password but smf can still connect to the database... on the settings.php I see that the $db_user and $db_passwd are these of my MySQL database and not of my cPanel. Do I have to change this in the repair_settings or not?

Hi, you can leave that as is.

SMF only requires the database info and not that for your cPanel.
