Converting from IPB 2.0.0 - Missing threads/false post count

I converted earlier today from IPB 2.0.0 to the SMF 1.0.3. and although I got the message that everthing went fine, the total posts count and total topics count do not work correctly and when I used "Find and repair any errors" the following was/is shown:

Would you like to fix these errors?

I do not know if these posts were deleted on my IPB forum or not, nor do I know which content it could have. Would be terrible to loose them.

It seems I have the same problem as described in http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=18546.15.

Okay ... I use again IPB and could now check if the missing messages are there or not. They are not. I guess I have deleted them at IPB.

Anyway ... the other problem is still there.

This may be caused by a bug or problem in the Invision database (e.g. maybe topics weren't deleted properly in some version) and not at all with the conversion at all.

It may also not be, but if you don't seem to be missing any topics...

Only on the phpMyAdmin query, replace ipd_ in that code I gave you with whatever it ACTUALLY uses - that was just a guess by me!

That means there are no posts for that topic; indeed, this is an error in your database; the topic is missing.

So then I can simply execute the "Find and repair any errors" function and click on yes. I once had to delete a lot of posts as the poster had them posted twice. Maybe there is a problem with deleting topics or posts completely and simply leaves blank messages.

But what about the other problem with the post count?
