Forum Formatting Problem?

Hi,

I just installed SMF. The installation went fine, but when I open the forum, I feel like I'm using internet explorer 3! There are no images (all of them have that "x" icon in the corner), no colors, no background. It's all plain and obviously not right. I tried installing a theme, and that did not work. I also tried using a different browser, and that didn't work either. Please help!

Hmm odd. Have you made sure the urls and pathways are correct for each theme?

Have you set the correct permissions as per the installation instructions? If read permissions are not set on the correct files they may 404.
