mybb 1.4 to smf 2.0

hi i have installed smf  then uploaded the convert.php  started it  put all teh info in and now it  says

Converting...
Successful.
Recalculating forum statistics...

how long should this take been running about  30 mins  if it has  stopped responding can i run the  convert.php again ?

or do i need to  install  from start again

been running now for a couple of hours still saying the same

Does the page keep reloading (and does the continue button keep counting down)?
if not... i would try again and use the continue button manually. Depending on the size of your forum it shouldn't take too long ( my board was about 8k posts, and transferring posts took the longest, recalculating the stats was a breeze)

i took  ages and  it never moved last night light 3 hours  so turned computer of ant tried again  today and   when i run the convert.php it loads i put  details in and password  and then click on continue  and then it just times out  all the time
