como eliminar el Centro de informacion - Info Center, del indice

Hola amigos, como puedo hacer para eliminar el Centro de informacion - Info Center que aparece en la parte de abajo del indice del foro, se puede?

espero sus respuestas.

opcion para ello no se si exista. eliminarlo se puede pero estas seguro?
tambien se eliminaria la lista de ultimos mensajes, de igual modo te dejo el codigo de todo eso.

Se que este hilo tiene un tiempo sin respuesta ni nada, pero creo que tengo una solución un poco mas facil y por eso lo comparto, ya que llegue aqui buscando lo mismo, como quitar el "centro de Información".

Se edita el boardindex.template.php , si tu theme no lo tiene copialo del default o modifica el dafult. Buscas esta linea <div class="roundframe"> y le agregas style="display:none"  te debe quedar algo así <div class="roundframe" style="display:none"> y ya esta, de este modo no lo eliminas (por si quieres volver a ponerlo luego) pero no sé ve. Obviamente antes de modificar nada, HAS COPIA DE SEGURIDAD

Disculpen , veo que el tema es viejo , peor por ahi me pueden dar una mano, aqui dice que este mod es para 2.0 pero me figura que no es compatible con esa version, y esto es justamente lo que quiero hacer, desactivar el centro de informacion , y estoy casi seguro que hay una opcion dentro de la configuracion del foro que permite hacer esto.. y no la puedo encontrar!!!
