Same Time and repeated on boardindex

Hi i am having a seriously problem with my forums and i really need it fixing..

On the board index where u have all the topics... of a board..

the time is repeated on every post and its the same time as my local Time on my Computer
Or anyone elses computer that is using it..

I have tried to find the cause my self but unfortunatly im no good with php and mysql..




Anyhelp with this whould be amazing

as i do need this fixed..

Do you have any Mods installed? If so, which one(s)?

Also, a specific SMF version could be of assistance.

Also, check whether it's happening with the SMF default theme, or not.


If it's not, we know the theme's being daft.

O.k. i know i have installed alot of mods.. but my forum is getting used alot and this is an issue that really needs to be solved.. People are reporting the error to me all the time,... I cant find here or what is going wrong..

How could it be telling me my system time is there not something somewhere that has been changed to show the wrong time? or its not storing the time of the post in the database..

Any help on this would be fantastic...

Is it OK with the default theme?


If it is, try the support thread for the theme. They'll know more about how it's coded, there.

Unfortunatly no.. i did try the default theme and its showing the same on the default theme to..

Looks like one of the mods have changed something and i cant locate it

  I really need this fixed as its avery bad error.. can there not be a resolution as to be what could be causing the issue...

or even which part of the script actually stores and displays that info.. because its obviously not being added to the database correctly and im a total noob with php and mysql.. i know basically the basics.. i cant write it.

I really do want it fixing as its totally messy and doesnt look good at all.

Well, with that huge list of mods, I'm flummoxed. I don't even recognise a lot of them.


Do any of them make you think "Hmmm... it could be that one"?


That way, at least I'd have somewhere to start.

I think however..

It could be todo with the colour.. on the boardindex.. or the avatar being displayed next to the time..

There the only ones that are in the same place as the time..

It could be that...

You have at least three mods for avatars. What do they do? That might help.

I had some problems with something else and I didn't know where tot look. Try to remember which mods you installed and when the trouble began. And I agree that avatarmods and avatars uploading tot  myadmin section of the board is most of the time the troublemaker. Put avatars directly on the map with your ftp server and they wil show anyway.

Well ons is to select avatar on registration.
another is to display the avatar on board index.

the problem is i dont know when this error occured.. because obviously when i was doing the mods and everything else there was no posts well non that i had taken notice of i didnt think to look as i did not expect there to be a problem till a few weeks later i actually noticed.. there must be some command in the php script thats writing the wrong information the smf tables.. i dont know.. but im so stuck GRRR..

I'll do a bit of detective work. It looks like Avatar On Board might be the culprit.
