im new to SMF-i need help

Hello, I have installed SMF, and i am useing it for a bow hunting website as a talk forum. i installed it but was wondering if i can change the colors of the layout. i found in the admin login that i can change themes. so i found one i like and can't figure out how to change it.

can anyone help me lol.

Find a Theme here http://custom.simplemachines.org/themes/
and download the Zip file.

Go to the Admin panel of your site and click Themes and Layouts.

Under Install a New Theme, click Browse and select the Zip file you downloaded.
Once installed, select the new theme as your main theme.

Hello Steve,

I live in houston too small world. ok i will try it again and see what i come up with. i did download the zip file. should i unzip it first then go back to my admin and try loading it again. or don't unzip and and do the following?

im sure i'll have to try a couple way still i figure it out.
