BB Code [img] tag resizing

Hey guys,
Is there any way to modify SMF to make pictures posted with BBCode img tags resize to thumbnail size, and then link to a full size picture elsewhere on the server? It's really annoying because all pictures are displayed at full size when using img tags, so if you post a 5000x5000 image, it will be displayed that big.

There is a way to resize the images.

First, you can modify the bbc.img code in the index.css file.  You can force the image to whatever size you want there.  Second, you can control the size by adding the width tag:

I'm not sure if there is anyway to link to the full size though.

Another option would be to encourage your members to post the images as attachments, which I believe there is an option to resize as thumbnails.  Clicking on the thumbnailed attachment would open the full size.

Edit:  Oh, in your Features and Options under Layout, you can force a max size of images.  That may help too.
