Hi, which version of SMF are you using?

That error seems to be from a blog mod. Do you have one installed?

Can you access your forums?

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer. If that fails, read the manual.

OK, so you can do everything but board functions.

If you just installed the blog I would suggest you uninstall it and post this question in the support topic for that mod.

i just tried to uninstall but it now will not let me uninstall

Will it just let you not uninstall or is it showing errors?

Check the support topic for that mod to see if someone has encountered this. Also ask the original question there since the mod author is most familiar with the mod.

What do you mean by "still taking effect"?

Are you still getting that error when doing anything Board related?

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer. If that fails, read the manual.

What you might need to do is manually uninstall the mod. See what changes are made to what files and to undo them.

Go to your mysql database.
In your smf_settings tabel there's a record with variable "smfVersion". The value of that should be "SMF 1.1.11" (without the quotes).

There's quite a few files involved. In looking at the mod. Most of the changes are well commented and easy to find. You should be able to do it yourself without too much problem. To see the changes made go to the mod page and parse it for 1.1.11.

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer. If that fails, read the manual.

Were you able to resolve this?  If the mod does not uninstall correctly, be sure and post in the support topic for that specific mod.
