The wrap text image does not show in the post area yet is in the correct folder ie images/bbc

Any ideas?

First did you try uninstalling and reinstalling it? If so, did you upload all images to all themes in the correct folders?

Kays

Try Ctrl + F5 to refresh your browser.

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer. If that fails, read the manual.

Already thought of.

Back to this. Is it actually in the folder for that theme.

Try another browser?

Says the image has to be in images/bbc

Would it be worth trying the main images folder?

Have tried a different browser using my ipod touch with no difference.

Kays

Images are normally in the images folder of the theme you are using.

Right click on it, choose Properties and see what the path is. As well as the image name.

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer. If that fails, read the manual.

Kays

Is the image name correct? It might be case sensitive.

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer. If that fails, read the manual.

TheListener

just realised I missed the end of so it should be Themes/raven/images/bbc/.gif

yet the image shows with no problem in the  folder

Kays

Place the full url to the image in a set of img tags and see of it shows.

That's one way to see.. :)

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer. If that fails, read the manual.

The image showed with no problems.

Kays

You'll probably need to check the template files for the editor.

Which editor are you using? try the other one ansd see if the image is there..

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer. If that fails, read the manual.

WYSIWYG or normal. You can change it in your profile.

I believe they use separate templates.

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer. If that fails, read the manual.

Not a wysiwyg fan.

Looking at my default themes post template file the required text doesn't seem to be there

>:(

Kays

If this is a custom bbc tag then you'll need to add it

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer. If that fails, read the manual.
My Mods

annoying thing is the text in the file I am supposed to be adding to is not in the file.

Kays

Where are you looking. The editor is done a bit weird?

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer. If that fails, read the manual.
My Mods

TheListener

was looking at the original mods page.

Arantor

Was the original mod designed for 2.0 RC2? How you add BBC to the editor is different in that to every previous version.

TheListener

Another user adapted the mod for 2.0

TheListener

Discovered the image file ends with .gif and not float.gif

Kays

I still have no image despite the file being in the folder

Kays

And properly named?

Does this happen with both editors?

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer. If that fails, read the manual.

It beats me.

If the image is there and the code to show it is correct. Then it should show.

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer. If that fails, read the manual.

Please provide a link to the adapted mod. I bet it's missing an image key in the array (as so many mods were)

TheListener

Hope this is what you wanted.

The mod was adapted for 2.0 by another user.

Arantor

Hmm, seems the image key is there.

Is the image in the right folder? (i.e. Themes/yourtheme/images/bbc) And it's called float_01.gif ?

TheListener

The image is there called float.gif

Arantor

The image in the zip is float_01.gif. The code is referring to float_01.gif, on RC2.

That's what the file should be called.

TheListener

#34
So I gave it the wrong name?

::)

EDIT:  The image still is a no show despite renaming the file.

Arantor

And is it in the right folder?

TheListener

Arantor

Themes/default/images/bbc, or Themes/yourtheme/images/bbc ?

TheListener

Themes/yourtheme/images/bbc

Arantor

I don't know then without looking. No, that is not an invitation to PM me account details.
