ok, I need a little help on getting mine to work. I'm trying to test it before taking it live.
I'm running SMF 2.0 RC3, and I installed SA_FBConnect_0.2.zip (169kB) (is this the correct and most up-to-date package for my forum?). I set up the application just like the page you linked to : http://www.sa-mods.info/index.php?topic=734.msg4837#msg4837 : And I put the values in my settings page. The "Facebook Application Key" I assume is the API Key, correct? because there is no tab for "App Key". And I put in the secret key correctly, that one I know is right. I also have enabled fbook connect mod and share topic feature. When I click on the "integrate forum account with facebook" link above my avatar while signed in, a new window opens, displaying the exact same page that I'm on, but the bookmark disappears, and "forum2/?session=("session_key....) appears in the address bar. Then I click on the same fbook link within that window and I get the fbook pop up. However, that pop up is also displaying errors. (API Error Code: 100, API Error Description: Invalid Parameter. Error Message: next is not owned by the application.) I am not a php programmer, and admirer how y'all can do tis stuff, I'm a graphic designer, so I'm on the front end. But if someone could help me with this it'd be greatly appreciated! I can give ya a link to my forum if you need to. THANKS!
