Hey guys,

I'm a newbie to all of these and running SMF v. 1.1.11 and installed the SA FBConnect 0.2.

The button shows up, but it doesn't work. When click on it, nothing happens or it seems to just refresh the page.

Also, when I was exploring the "share board" tab in the menu, it sends me to a blank page and said "Fatal error: Call to undefined function smf_db_query.......................... /FB_Connect/Facebook_connect_admin.php on line 151"

Please advise.

Ok thank you for that...  i just did that... but is still not working....

I inputed all the keys and IDs and when I click on the FB connect button, it doesn't do anything or it just refreshes the page.

Also, when I explore the "share boards" option, it directs me to a new page with this error message:

"Fatal error: Call to undefined function smf_db_query() in /hermes/bosweb/web093/b938................................./Sources/FB_Connect/Facebook_connect_admin.php on line 151"

Please advise....

I found another mod which puts the like buttons in all post.

However, I'm still interested in installing this one because this is the only mod that I can find which puts a FB button in your main page.

I'm still having the same issues as stated above. Please advise.

Thank you so much for your time!

This is a nice mod! I am using it with SMF1.1.12 and Simple Portal 2.3.3 (all default files, no modifications to any templates yet).

When I "sign in with Facebook", it redirects me to the forum. I don't want that, I want it go to to the portal page.

What do I need to change so that it redirects to the portal page?

There are a few instances of "Registerd"  It should be "Registered"

The "Update Your Facebook Status" link fails in Safari 3.1.2

Everytime i tried to login to facebook via the connect button i get the following problem:

It loads the website as this: http://hscguide.net/reloaded/uide/forum/ [nofollow]
We never have 'uide' in our url. Also, all the graphics and posts cannot be seen in the forum nor on the homepage when integration has occurred. How can I resolve this?

Awesome mod, love it! I'm currently testing with Simple Portal 2.3.3 and SMF 2.0 RC4.  I noticed on the "My Friends" page where it lists my friends, it's only showing 10 people per page...there are 2 empty table cells in the lower right. Is there a setting for how many to show per page that I'm not finding in the admin panel?

Basically it's bringing up a 4 across by 3 down grid but only showing the first 10 cells with information in them...the last 2 across the bottom on the right are empty. Same on subsequent pages.

I seem to be having a strange problem. If someone registers through FB Connect, they see the forums in a whole different way - main things to them are not there (like the ability to post a new topic or reply). I've included screenshots. One is a "normal" member, the other is an account created through FB connect.
It also does not send an activation email when registering through FBConnect for them to activate their account, but they are just automatically activated.

I am running SMF 2.0 RC4

In the mods admin panel what group are your Fb users placed in and what permissions does that group have?
Correct email activation does work with this mod by design... fb users have already authenticated their email addresses.

That was the first thing I checked... the permissions. They are put into the "newbie" membergroup and that group has regular posting/reply permissions.

Admin>>Members>>Permissions... I'm pretty sure that group has no permissions at this point ;)
