when i try to integrate facebook account on my forumit show error like below

An Error Has Occurred!
CurlException: 7: Failed to connect to 69.171.224.38: Permission denied

This has been answered by Parker a page or two back I believe.  You need to set a new image for the login images.

If you mean this

save this image to your web server http://sites.socialoptin.com/images/fb_connect.png

and then in your Facebook integration settings under "Facebook Login image " enter the url to the image on your server

had the same issue a few weeks ago this fixed it no problem

So that's not the way to fix my "Register with" buttons. Cause login button shown in user box is working okay. Just can't see register buttons on "creating account" and Login buttons on "login section".

My theme is MyLee by SkinMod with lots of editions, mostly css.
I saw my mod is outdated. If i uninstall old v. and install the new one will i loose account asociations?

When i reinstall my SA twitter mod the buttons problem get solved !! anyways i keep on asking about that ↑↑

The automatic Facebook posting feature still doesn't work properly. It works fine for the next few hours after authorizing the application, but after a while it stops posting on my Facebook page.

I would say that the FB token expires, but I am not able to figure out how to solve this on my own.

Any ideas?

in you facebook app under advance disable
Remove offline_access permission:

this mod doesnt work with the new fb permission correct yet

after doing this your have to goto fb admin publisher and run thru the auth processs again

i have some insues with this mod, i update them and now

- when i put one "like" in the topic open a popup to login at facebook and the page stays blank, dont do nothing;
- when i have new topcis or members the app dont publush on facebook, when i click to grant autorization in admin panel the popup staus in blank,
- and i have two publish buttons on each post, how can remove one ?

I understand (based on earlier posts) that this mod has been handed off to a new developer; I was just wondering if anyone could link me to an archived copy of the instructions for creating a facebook app while the new developer gets acclimated to the code?  The old link doesn't work anymore and I don't know enough to fake my way through using Facebook's HOWTOs.

Hi there,

Having a few issues with SA Facebook Integration, it's causing my forum to completely white-out pages and also database issues, as described here:

The issues it causes are shown in the error log as such:

There are also concerns with the use of WIRELESS in the URL string, which causes errors with Subs.php

This has meant I've uninstalled it completely, which has lost a lot of functionality on our forum - I understand you are a new developer and you are donating your time, which I very much appreciate, however I would also be really grateful if you could explain the issues and if/when to expect a fix.

This mod has been handed off to another dev.  We have to be patient while he gets familiar with the code and polishes it up...

It's not that difficult to create an app on FB to get this working, you should be able to create an app at the following link - https://developers.facebook.com/apps/

Then just upload the package and install and fill in the info from the newly created app.
