e107 0.7.15 to smf

I decided to switch from may old e107 tio smf. But the converter does the following:

Caused the error:

    Unknown column 'ue.user_homepage' in 'field list'

What does that mean? And how can I fix that?

OK i resolved it myself by taking out the fields (they where not existent in the DB).

But after conversion now I have Probs with my German "umlaute" (you know we have letters for ue,ae,oe....) they are not convertet. Is that smth that I have to live with?
