Converting VB 3.6.4

Hi
I have a forum using VB 3.6.4 and would like to convert.  The present VB install is in the root.  Where should I install smf?

Oh and can I convert to the latest version of smf or do I have to go to v1 then up to 2?

you should install SMF to a subfolder, both forums have at least the index.php and can't exist in the same folder. I'd also recommend to use the 1.1.x converter, our 2.0 converters are still "beta".

Thanks.  I thought so but wanted to be sure.

Well it worked like a charm!!  Now to find some mods and skins.
