New post color???

When I ask posts to be approved before they show to everyone it has a red (!) on the board index.  Also when I goto the forum with the (!) the post needing approval has a different background color then the rest.  But some are getting annoyed by the approval thing.  So is there a way to turn off approval and do the same thing basically?  When a new post is made keep the (!) and change the bg color of the new posts made since my last visit?  Or without moderation approval there is no way?

It is possible, but it wouldn't be very easy to do it just for you - it would be easiest to make it that way for all users.
