Uh... no, since 1.1.x is in maintenance release while 2.0 is in active development?

So from your knowledge 1.1.11 is where the buck stops for that line ?
Ever since, 1.1.0, all 1.1 releases have been for security and bug fixes only. No new features have been added since. If there is a major security vulnerability or bug that pops up, there could end up being a 1.1.12. But, it won't add functionality.

That's the reason most mods that were released for 1.1-1.1.5 still work, and even more work with just a few edits, for 1.1.6-1.1.11.

Yeah man, i know that much ,,, was just wondering if any security issues were found in 1.1.11 to prompt a .12 ... Remember SMF released 1.1.11 and 2.0 Rc2 Practically The same time...

so will rc2 mods work with rc3?
Depends on the mod, really. If they don't work right now, they may in a few days when the mod authors get a chance to update them. *Most* RC2 mods *should* work without a lot of work.

Please do not solicit support via PM. Here's why!

Arantor

Mostly, yes. Of the ones I've updated so far only one actually needed anything more than minor changes to it - the rest just needed adding 2.0 RC3 to the list of supported versions.

bloc

Great work! Time for updating themes me guess. ;D (and mod)

Bancherd

Alright!  Will check it out now.

Thanks for the good work, guys& gals.  ;D

CFCParadox

Over a dozen of my mods now updated for 2.0 RC3. You never know, I might even write some new ones.

Back in style...  :P
"There is no god, and that's the simple truth. If every trace of any single religion were wiped out and nothing were passed on, it would never be created exactly that way again. There might be some other nonsense in its place, but not that exact nonsense. If all of science were wiped out, it would still be true and someone would find a way to figure it all out again."

* Amacythe gets mad at Sabre™ :P

Arantor

Dismal: I know... good isn't it? (expecting maybe one person to get the Doctor Who reference there)

* Arantor has an idea for a side project mod to do that will be a first for 2.0 RC3 (and in fact for RC2 as well) but more on that when I have time away from SimpleDesk.

Amacythe, long time no talk. How are you doing? I'm... here and I even got mods unarchived, how crazy is that?

Cassiel

I know, i'm late to the party but congrats on the release. :)

so when i'm installing a mod as long as there all 'Test successful' and there's no 'Test failed' it'll work?
