multiple pages rather than all on one page

is there any way i can have my replies on multiple pages rather than all on 1 page
ie after say 10 replies it goes onto page 2
some of my replies have 30+ replies all on the same page so you have to scroll down a long way to the bottom

i run the latest 1.1.11 version

Admin > Posts and Topics > Topic Settings > Number of posts per page in a topic page

Set that to 10, then after 10 posts, it'll move to page 2.
