RC3 account activation problem

Hi,

When a user changes their email on my forum they get the following screen (attached). However they do get the activation email.

Before I upgraded to RC3 I think users used to get information that they need to reactivate their account. How can I fix this?

Anything in the error log? Does it do that on the default theme?
