Attachments broken after RC3 upgrade.

All of the files are listed in the SMF admin panel and the directory is correct with the proper permissions.  New attachments work just fine but old thumbnails and attachments are all broken from before the upgrade. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks

What happens if you try this?

Admin -> Forum -> Attachments and Avatars -> File Maintenance

Click "[Maintain]" next to where it shows the total size of that attachments directory.

I tried this and it detected a few issues. When it repaired "13 files" it ended up wiping nearly all the attachments from various posts. All the files are present. Not sure if there is much I can do now
