I keep getting this symbol: �

I have this symbol: � that keeps popping up all over my SMF site. It;s automatically replacing commas, spaces, etc, etc.

What causes it, and how do I fix it?

What language files are you using? ISO or UTF-8?

Are you writing posts in Word and copying them?

I think I'm using UTF and it happens mostly when I paste them.

I also use TP, and with the editor it's always adding them.

I also use RSS topic Feeds. All topic feeds are infected with the � everywhere.

looks like you paste ISO coded text and your site expects UTF-8

I thought it was better? for multiple languages and such?

It is. I prefer the English pack, but then again I don't worry about people using other languages on my forum.

Just depends on your forum.
