Getting started

I just activated the program and now need to place the code into my php page where I want the forum to reside.
Do I just cut/paste the index.php content into the page where I want it to populate and then rename that index.php?
Any guidance would be great, thanks.

No worries,
Installed the program.
On my site I have a page dedicated to the forum
I want to have the forum site inside the page so that I keep the same look and feel as the other pages with top navigation and two side columns.  The forum will be in the center like the content is through the site.
So my question is, do I take the php code from the index.php that is in the simplemachine files then add that into my page where the center content would populate? 
I hope that makes it cleaner.  I am trying not to have the forum be a seperate section by itself.

Yes please if you can move it that would be great.  I would think this is a fairly common question since I don't want to loose my look/feel of my site when using the forum.
