Now I get this error :

Package upload failed due to the following error:
"The package you are trying to install cannot be located. You may want to manually upload the package to your Packages directory."

So then I put the mod in the packages folder.
I was using Simple Portal but It wont work! even though it says its installed!!

Kill Em All

Make sure the packages directory is CHMOD to 755, also make sure a directory called "temp" without quotes is in your Packages directory and that it is CHMOD to 777.

Ok thanks sorry :S The packages directory is not 755 it is 777
I changed it to 755 and there is no folder called temp there

Oranos

Make a folder called "temp" inside the packages directory, and make it 777. After that, try installing your mods.

Madbullet

Done but I still get the same error !?

Madbullet

Sorry Sorry IT WORKS! I called it Temp not temp ii changed it and it works thanks!

Oranos

that's weird. It actually IS called "temp" all lower case...Glad you got it solved none the less though...

Yes, maybe the support there is much better.

You can also think about starting a new topic for a new problem.
When you change the entire start message with the existing problem into a new problem nobody will understand it.
