This is one frikkin cool mod. Nice work Rik. I'm awaiting for the upcoming release. Watched the youtube video aswell. Although any new features on the new version?

PortaMx is probably the best SMF portal!

SMF2.0 RC3

Hello

I have been testing things and found with simple image shack this is what happens
step by step
1
i go to ether reply a post or make a new post
2
I click on the simple image shack "Browse"
4
find my image
5
click on "host it"
it then shows my the image link and a preview to the left
6
I then copy the image URL
7
click on the button for "insert image" and past my URL under where it says "Enter image location" & click OK
-then my image is showing and everything so far is still looking good
8
I then click on post - this is where the problem starts
9
after i click on post it shows the link like this
[img]http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/719/myslogan.jpg[/img]
and no image, but if you click on the image URL the image will open in a new window to look at the image

--
However if I don't use "insert image" and past the URL in my post first
then add the tags reflection like this

[reflect]http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/719/myslogan.jpg[/reflect]

my image will show perfect how I want it including the reflection.

I think this might be a image shack error, but in saying that.
the problem only happens after I am finished with image shack & click post

Any idea's will be good

thanks

I FOUND MY FIX SO DON'T WARRY ABOUT THIS ERROR

Hi,

I've got a problem using this mod on my webspace, locally at XAMPP everything works fine.

Curl is activated and here is what I get:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Apache/2.2.9 (Debian) mod_ssl/2.2.9 OpenSSL/0.9.8g Server at xyz.de Port 80

edit: I changed sis-php-files from 666 to 777 but nothing changed and unfortunately I can't check the Server Log because it's a hostet one...

edit2: Changed attributes of complete sis-folder to 755...that helped! There should be a known issue part in post #1 ;)

Great MOD, Love it.
Saves going to external imageshack site.

Just made it live, works a treat.

Is there a way to hard code the image size i.e. 640x480?
Just wanted to keep things neat and tidy.

Hello

This problem I am having doesn't effect the forum in anyway it's just a pain to have to deal with.
What happens is when I have this mod turned on it works great but leaves a huge empty area
between the image and the post button.
But with the mod turned off the post button is back to where it should be & everything looks fine.

So it must be something in the mod that I can correct; please look at my images to understand
what i mean.

Thankyou

Rik©

Hi guys/girls.
I'm back   8)
The last 3 months i have not done anything related to SMF (software & community).
Have been busy with work, family, friends, music etc.
I also wanted to see if i could live without SMF and guess what.... i can!  ;D

First i will update simpletweaks.info
Then i will update SIS for SMF 1.1.12/ 2.0 RC4

I don't believe you!
Such a thing is Blasphemous!!
I will need documents and photos of you enjoying life away from the community  ???

lol
Do NOT give admin and/or ftp details to just anybody, see if they are trust worthy first!!  Do your homework ;)

I found my self a work around & I got it worked out

all I did was move

    // Finally, the submit buttons.
    echo '
                    <p class="smalltext" id="shortcuts">
                        ', $context['browser']['is_firefox'] ? $txt['shortcuts_firefox'] : $txt['shortcuts'], '
                    </p>
                    <p id="post_confirm_buttons" class="righttext">
                        ', template_control_richedit_buttons($context['post_box_name']);

to the top of

    // SimpleImageShack v3.1.3 - SimpleTweaks.info
    if (empty($modSettings['sis_addops']))
    {
        global $boardurl;
        $sisframe_width = $modSettings['sis_width'];
        $sisframe_height = $modSettings['sis_height'];

        if (!empty($modSettings['sis_permis']))
        {
            if (!empty($modSettings['sis_enable']) && AllowedTo('sis_view'))
            {
                    echo '
                        <div>
                            <iframe src="' . $boardurl . '/sis/SISiframe.php" scrolling="auto" frameborder="0" width="' . $sisframe_width . '" height="' . $sisframe_height . '" allowtransparency="true"> You must have an iframe-compatable browser to view the ImageShack.us upload form.</iframe>
                        </div>
                    ';
            }
        }
        else
        {
            if (!empty($modSettings['sis_enable']))
            {
                    echo '
                        <div>
                            <iframe src="' . $boardurl . '/sis/SISiframe.php" scrolling="auto" frameborder="0" width="' . $sisframe_width . '" height="' . $sisframe_height . '" allowtransparency="true"> You must have an iframe-compatable browser to view the ImageShack.us upload form.</iframe>
                        </div>
                    ';
            }
        }
    }
    // SimpleImageShack v3.1.3 - SimpleTweaks.info

& that moved the post buttons up to the post area and much better to use like this

have a look at how it looks after moving the code above [SimpleImageShack v3.1.3 - SimpleTweaks.info]
instead of below

T3CHN0

Hello. It would be great to see this in any updates of SIS...

For anyone interested. I have thought for a long time why is this option from Simple ImageShack NOT also in the
personal messages as an option as well.

I think this option should be a default option in SMF with all forums.

but here it is. first you must have the mod installed i would believe.

go to your /Themes/default/ folder and open the file called PersonalMessage.template.php

FIND

   // Show the message you're replying to.

ADD BEFORE

   // SimpleImageShack v3.1.3 - SimpleTweaks.info
    if (empty($modSettings['sis_addops']))
    {
        global $boardurl;
        $sisframe_width = $modSettings['sis_width'];
        $sisframe_height = $modSettings['sis_height'];

        if (!empty($modSettings['sis_permis']))
        {
            if (!empty($modSettings['sis_enable']) && AllowedTo('sis_view'))
            {
                    echo '
                        <div>
                            <iframe src="' . $boardurl . '/sis/SISiframe.php" scrolling="auto" frameborder="0" width="' . $sisframe_width . '" height="' . $sisframe_height . '" allowtransparency="true"> You must have an iframe-compatable browser to view the ImageShack.us upload form.</iframe>
                        </div>
                    ';
            }
        }
        else
        {
            if (!empty($modSettings['sis_enable']))
            {
                    echo '
                        <div>
                            <iframe src="' . $boardurl . '/sis/SISiframe.php" scrolling="auto" frameborder="0" width="' . $sisframe_width . '" height="' . $sisframe_height . '" allowtransparency="true"> You must have an iframe-compatable browser to view the ImageShack.us upload form.</iframe>
                        </div>
                    ';
            }
        }
    }
   // SimpleImageShack v3.1.3 - SimpleTweaks.info

And this will give you the option to brows for an image and upload it like it does
when posting in the boards.

same code from Post.template.php used.

if there is side effects to this please reply & let everyone know.
but as it is I am happy to leave it and keep it where it is.

click on image to see how it looks on my forum
