It would be nice to input hours, minutes, or even seconds as a length for polls; there are innumerable valid reasons you could want a poll timed specifically. I've searched, wasn't able to find a mod that can do this, though it seems like a pretty obvious request.

May be that's because it's already in SMF?

To clarify:

When you click "New poll", you'll see:

Run the poll for:
(Leave blank for no limit.)

It IS limited to "Days", though.

^This. I've tried using decimals, a la 2.5 days, but it doesn't work.

Unless you can recode the poll files, you're stuck with full days, I'm afraid.

If you post in the "Mod requests" board, you might just get lucky. ;)

If they are innumerable, just give us ten of them. :)

I've used decimals in the days field and that has worked. I wouldn't mind seeing an option for "run for x days OR run until specific date/time.

Sounds like a good idea. A calendar selector with a time box would be really nice.
