if i want all uploaded images in my forum to automatically show thumbnail (Large size)

using SMF 2.0 do i have to install anything?

Admin CP > Attachments and Avatars > Attachment settings. There you can enable thumbnails and set the size for them.

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer. If that fails, read the manual.
