took me hour to find the exact code

open sources/Subs-BoardIndex.php
Find:

Code Select Expand

// Prepare the subject, and make sure it's not too long.
censorText($row_board['subject']);
$row_board['short_subject'] = shorten_subject($row_board['subject'], 24);


the number  ----------------------- 24
in there is the number restricting the subject lenght .
change the number to a suitable one of your choice.

Great mod. Works nicely. This is 2 months late but I hope I can request something that (I hope) is simple enough.

It's very vBish, which I like. Do you think we could go ahead and add the 'Message Icon' right before the title name? Here's an attachment from another vB forum if you don't know what I'm getting at. I highlighted with the red boxes what I'm talking about.

Thanks Joker. Looks fine now.  It's a shame the icon takes up so much space though, I'm not too picky, but it's just as well.

Although I somehow was able to swap the date and time with the 'Latest Post' icon. Even though I checked the syntax and everything was in order they were still reversed.  Kinda weird IMO. But whatever.

I kinda wanted to ask if there was a way to just show hours and minutes without the seconds. I'm sure this is an easy task, I don't really know how to accomplish it though.

I am not sure if there is a problem with the mod or with my installation.
After installing this mod on RC5, the message title is missing from the message index page.

For me package worked fine on fresh RC5, can you show me a screen shot of your issue.

I have attached the screen shot of before and after. Problem only occurs in the child boards. Home page is fine.
