I would like to install SMF 2.0 RC3.

Having read the below message on the downloads page
Note: As this is in development, we do not recommend running SMF 2.0 RC3 on a production site.

1. Does this mean that SMF 2.0 RC3 is unstable ??
2. Can I import my 1.1.11 database into SMF 2.0 RC3 ??

1. It does not mean that it is unstable, but rather has some showstopping bugs that mean it cannot be a final release. So long as you are comfortable with being able to work with these bugs, you can safely use 2.0.

2. Just run the upgrade script included with the Large Upgrade package. Upgrading SMF
