1.1 vs 2.0?

What is the difference? For a new forum which do I choose? Usually you choose the newest one but I'm curious why yall still have the 1.1 if 2.0 is 100% better. Please tell me the differences between the two? Thanks!

2.0 RC3 has a bug with the attachments, thus I wouldn't recommend it.

1.1 is considered stable. It's been around for 4 years, with successive security patches. It's not obsolete, it's in maintenance.

2.0 is the actively developed branch. It has new features 1.1 doesn't, but it has known bugs - some bigger than others, as RoyalDuke less than flatteringly points out.
