Hello, I just set up SMF correctly with FileZilla to my Godaddy Wordpress Hosting Account. Everything went good, and all I wanted was my new forum. Then, when I go to it, it gives me Connection Problems

Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.

I was so frustrated! It's been like 30 minutes! It's late and I just want to get this working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you modified any connection details for your database?
Make sure you entered the correct database login.

If you are still having problems and you are sure that you have entered the correct information, then contact GoDaddy about your problem as it could be on their end.

I am not sure what you mean by modify connection details. I am new to this.

If you want to see, the site is at hxxp:savannahvideocentral.com/wp-content/forum [nonactive]

Then you would be better off contacting your host.

And is it installation error, or with this eventually go away?

This will nit go away unless you fix it... If it lasts fir a few hours then it's unlikely a server error instead it's a misconfiguration.

Please make sure you installed your SMF right, did you fill out the right database fields? With the right database name?

How many databases do you have?
Does your godaddy 'wordpress hosting' support other scripts like SMF?

Were you able to resolve this?  If you haven't changed any of your connection details like the database name, database user, etc. then most likely it is a host issue.  Sometimes on shared servers that are oversold, you will see this much more frequently.  Try the following link to see how many other sites are hosted on your server.  It might surprise you.
