Hi...nice theme....very very nice!!!!

I upgraded my software to RC2 and am wondering how exactly or do I need to upgrade the theme to look correctly in RC2???

For instance......when posting........all the individual smileys have a "dark frame" around them and although it doesn't impede me using them, it looks funky. (it is like this on other templates too)

Also in the ADMIN panel where I can replace the forum name with a image/banner, I have a link to a picture in the place there but it doesn't replace the forum name like it is supposed to.

Can you please help me out ???

@smarttart62:
What is the version of SMF that you are using? And, what is the version of the theme used? It is sure to work without trouble if you use SMF 1.1 RC2 and the theme for SMF 1.1 RC2 is used.

@Weapon X:
Why do not you use the file for SMF 1.1 RC2 that I prepared?

Do you want to remodel it by all means by yourself? It will demand the labor of the same degree as remodeling "Babylon" to "Ig-Oh".

Hey thanks! it looks exactly one of my favorite colored,designed theme but any chance people like could use it with Bloc's tinyportal??
I've installed smf 1.0.6 and tinyportal 0.86v. integrated my smf with coppermine,flashchat so on...
PLease it'd be really great if someone could help me out. I really wanna apply this theme.
Please please pretty please

Of course.....my question was exactly that........if that is the case I will use the one you prepared for RC2. My main question was if that version allowed the use of banner adding over the tuitle.
Thanks for your help.........so would I just overwrite the old one ???

Ok...I upgraded to the latest RC for this theme but it still doesn't do what I want it to do.

This "(leave blank to show forum name or default logo.)" in the template part of the admin cpanel is the option where am having the trouble.

I want to change the forum name to an image but when I put the image link in the space provided it changes the default logo (upper right) to the image and the forum name (upper left) remains the same. That isn't what I want....I want the reverse....to change the forum name to the image I have linked there and I'd rather just remove the default logo all together.

I have noticed that that option is not uniform from template to template. It all depends on the author of the template as to whether this option changes the forum title or the default logo.

I wish this could be standardized.

Thanks for your help my friend.......... :)

This works with 1.0.6 as well right ?

@Weapon X:
Look for the following code from "index.template.php". And, change as you want the part of the red character.

Quoteecho '
<table align="center" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%" >
<tbody>
   <tr><td align="left" width="37px" class="topbg_l" height="70px">&nbsp;</td><td colspan="2" align="left" class="topbg" valign="middle"><span style="font-family: Georgia, sans-serif;">', $context['forum_name'], '</span>
      </td><td align="right" width="275px" class="topbg_r" valign="top">';

For instance, to the following...

Quoteecho '
<table align="center" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%" >
<tbody>
   <tr><td align="left" width="37px" class="topbg_l" height="70px">&nbsp;</td><td colspan="2" align="left" class="topbg" valign="middle"><img src="http://www.yoursite.com/logo.gif" alt="" border="0" />
      </td><td align="right" width="275px" class="topbg_r" valign="top">';

@aw06:
It will work.

@ericmn:
To our regret, I think that no one does it perhaps.

Delete "Display.template.php" of this theme.

Thank so much koni.

I updated this theme. :) There is no bug patch, and the function addition is the main. Therefore, the user satisfied with a present function doesn't have the updated necessity.

The main change points:

  • The case where an original logo image is specified was assumed, and flexibility was given to the background image.
  • A image is able to be specified for the forum name on the left.
  • "Posters info"(Avatar, Star,  etc...) of "Display.template.php" can be specified also for the left just like the default theme.
    User of SMF 1.0.6
    Admin -> Forum Configuration -> Current Theme's Settings -> Posters information position
    User of SMF 1.1 RC2
    Admin -> Configuration -> Current Theme -> Posters information position
  • When the version of the forum and the version of the theme are different, attention is displayed.
  • When a necessary language file is insufficient, attention is displayed.

@aw06:
To display "Posters info" in the left, I updated this theme. However, please remove this theme from your choices if you hope for a further customizing to this theme. I do not support a positive customizing.

@bogdan.tody:
It is not in case of not being in the first post.

@Zumi:
It is good to construct the test environment in the local if you want to customize many. For instance, XAMPP etc. It will bring the results farther earlier than it asks someone.

Nice update Koni .. one more thing, the calender, the months are missing... you only see the years  :-\

Does the problem happen only by this theme? How in the theme of default?

Perhaps, I think that the problem is not only this theme. Because the change that I added to "Calendar.template.php" is a very insignificant thing, and it is almost the same as "Calendar.template.php" of default.

aw06

I looked at both your calender file and the default calender file .. and changes are a little more than significant  :D ... when i switch to regular theme it works ok .. when i replace you calender.php with the default one, it works, but the buttons have a box around it and the coulor is abit off  :-\
