the Error I get
Critical Error!
The installer was unable to access the "smf" database. With some hosts, you have to create the database in your administration panel before SMF can use it. Some also add prefixes - like your username - to your database names.

Has the database been created?
I did everything how to restore the database.

kat

Pardon?

Have you restored the database?

If not, how on Earth can SMF connect to it?

The screenshot you posted is for the installation of Smf and to restore the backup. As K@ said, did you create the MySql database? If you did, enter its information at the appropriate field boxes.

You can restore the backup from the CP as mentioned above. Alternatively you can restore it through phpmyadmin too.

CPanel>Backups.

There's a restore option, there, too.

From what you copy pasted here it looks like the VALUES is missing the closing bracket and the semicolon. Can you open the sql backup file and check if they are present there or it is the same like above?

Contact your host.

Fill in that information and try again.
