Help editing index.css part II

Greetings:

Everything in my forum is doing fine. I just need one more thing to fix. Im using ver 2.01, core theme.
I've never bothered tweaking this because in prior versions did not have problem.
So how can I move that black line to the right so the icon fits better? Again, thanks for all your help!
