phpBB to SMF: Duplicate Attachments

Hello, we thought we were done testing and ready for a full-on conversion from phpBB, but there are still a few things for us to work out.  One is after the conversion - it seems all attachments converted show up duplicated - meaning there are two links underneath the post - each one is linked to the SMF forums, but do have different ID's on the end.  Should I not convert attachments when converting from phpBB to SMF?  Thanks for any and all help.

Also - is there any "easy" way to convert custom ranks over?  It's going to be a project and a half to reassign custom ranks to each user.  Thanks again!

This probably means the attachments got converted twice for whatever reason.  I would clear everything and try again.

Doesn't the converter do post groups and all groups the member is in?

All of the member groups made it over in the converter - however, only one of the custom ranks with associated icon transferred.  None of the rest did.  Could it be some kind of "confusion" since multiple members belong to several groups - as well as having a rank assigned?  There was also a global moderator who was "dropped" from a group.  I'm not a php coder by any means - but the converter was tested with phpBB 2.0.7 and we converted from 2.0.15 - could that be some or all of the problem?  I didn't encounter any errors in the conversion.

The attachment duplicates are not a big concern at all.  Thanks again for your help.
