I don't know that mod, I just created from the Tip posted by Unknown I have his permission to do it

Well it does because the other mod is based on Unknown Code too, I don't know why people wants to critic mods if you don't like it just don't comment

Neither the old bear nor myself were criticising Nibogo.

The mod Yogi mentioned has not been supported for a long time.

Brack's right, Nibogo. The original mod was by 4fit (based on a code by Unknown) updated to RC3 by bluedevil but that's not to say it'll ever be updated for future releases so to have a version which will be supported can only be a good thing.

No complaint here either, however the last update to the old mod was by me when I added both the right/left floats plus made sure it worked with WYSIWYG and tweaked the BR bbc code to escape out of the float.  Actually PM'ed the old author to see if he would allow me to take it over but never heard back and then forgot 

Anyway some suggestions
1) The float tag should render properly in the WYSIWYG editor, wrap an IMG tag with a float tag and see what you get.  You are welcome to the changes I made in the old mod.
2) I like to have a bbc code to get out of the float, that's why I tweaked what BR did but that was just one option.  Again you are welcome to that as well.

I dont know what the problem was, but I got the same error as konkarakas when installing the current download file, then, downloaded the attachment version provided by sledgie, and VIOLA!!..installed cleanly and works properly in RC4 site with several other mods in play as well.
Maybe the admins here could switch out the current version in download area with the one attached to sledgies post above?
Either way..glad to see someone doing an updated version of this mod.

Is there an update for 2.0.1? I can't install this version. If I do it in compatibility mode it requires FTP info, it then changes my home dir on the server to 777 (which causes the host to shut the site down (Bluehost)). Is there a reason it changes the permissions?

Screws up the editor in 2.0.2, it will not allow cut and paste in normal view but cut and paste works fine in toggle mode.

Just a short note:  The mod works with 2.0.2 but has to be put in manually right now because the installer only goes as far as version 2.0.  I didn't try changing the installer to see if that would let it install automatically, but I would guess that the change would fix it.

Fair enough; however, with something this simple it seems to me that we shouldn't overcomplicate matters.

Where's the complication? You can quite happily install it yourself without waiting for someone to edit the package manually... (and the same technique works for a large number of mods), all it is is that you have to spend 30 seconds more to install it than before.

i try to install this on a other theme, uploaded the images, and make the changes in language/newtheme, but it doesnt work

But it's not, only goes up to 2.0.

I don't think it's a mistake. It does work on 2.0.3 - there are no changes in 2.0 beyond 2.0 itself that would affect it, so emulation would work fine.

I know it works, but it says it's compatible with 2.0.3 that as far as I can see means you should be able to download it and install it with the package manager without any emulation.

The trouble is, once someone uploads the mod via package manager, they are shown a install link straight away( which in my opinion they shouldn't).  If clicked they would probably get a error message, saying it's corrupt, or not compatible.

On the other hand, if the click back to the browse packages page they would see there's no install link for it. Because it's not actually compatible with 2.0.3 or 2.0.2 but 2.0 which is why you have to install it in compatibility mode.

The  package-info XML  file needs updating or a note on the download page perhaps.

Thank you for this mod, Nibogo. It's a really useful feature.

I just made a little alteration and I'd like to check that I've done it in the best way. In the original version of this mod, the margin around images is set as:
