My forum is located at: www.landroveraddict.com/smf

I would like to add a second banner below the main one. The new banner has been uploaded here:

http://www.landroveraddict.com/images/landroveraddict-768x90.gif

I'm using the dilber theme and have attached a copy of index.template.php taken from public_html / smf / Themes / dilbermc  (hope this is the correct one!).

Can anyone help with including the new banner just below the main one?

Thanks

Yes please - I think that would look best i.e. centred in relation to the main banner.

This shows your current banner:
if(!($settings['logo_not_show']))
{
if (empty($settings['header_logo_url']))
echo '
<a href="', $scripturl, '"><img src="', $settings['images_url'] . '/'. $settings['theme_main_color'], '/logo.jpg" style="margin: 0px;" alt="', $context['forum_name'], '" title="', $context['forum_name'], '"/></a>';
else
echo '
<a href="', $scripturl, '"><img src="', $settings['header_logo_url'], '" style="margin: 0px;" alt="', $context['forum_name'], '" /></a>';
}

You would add your code after that, something like:

echo '<div style="align: center;"><img src="http://www.landroveraddict.com/images/landroveraddict-768x90.gif" alt="Replace with banner desc" /></div>';
if you want to put a link in there just throw a <a href="url"> </a> around the <img> tag.

Many thanks!

I actually got it sorted using your advice, although I made the secondary banner the same width as the main one - it looks better.

I notice the main banner is clicky to take one to the forum "home" screen.

Can this be changed to link to lrm.co.uk ??

Replace both <a href="', $scripturl, '"> with <a href="http://yoursite.com/">

You should also update your forum to 1.1.11 as well.

You should also update your forum to 1.1.11 as well.

Which is completely irrelevant as to the problem but is a good idea considering your forum's security and stability ;)

Indeed, hence my suggestion. Security above all :)

Thanks for the help before!!

My forum sponsor has given me a new banner to put up (the top one).
They want it to be "clicky" and have given me the following code:

" Two versions, one blue the other green.

To get the different logos to link to the various pages - you'll want to add a map to the image - which can only be done at the other end.

Here is the code:

<img src="LRA-banner1.jpg" width="1024" height="135" border="0" usemap="#Map">
<map name="Map">
<area shape="rect" coords="18,30,234,87" href="http://www.lrm.co.uk" target="_blank" alt="Land Rover Monthly - the best magazine for Land Rovers">
<area shape="rect" coords="840,36,1012,103" href="http://www.lrmshow.com" target="_blank" alt="Land Rover Max 2010 at Stoneleigh!">
</map>

"

Is this correct? and if so, where should I slot it in?

Thanks...
